The game was physical. That set the tone for how the game was going to be played. We couldn't get to the basket and do what we wanted to do.

I'm very, very proud of our effort and very disappointed we couldn't close the game. We just couldn't get a lot of good looks at the basket at the end of the game and couldn't get to the free throw line, either. We really struggled to score the last five minutes of the game.

Our thought our guys battled hard, played hard throughout the whole game. They couldn't make a basket there at the end...pretty close to, but just couldn't put any in. It definitely was not a 16-point game.

I thought we played a very solid game on both sides of the ball. Getting those first two touchdowns early in the game really set the tone for us. We wanted to get ahead pretty quick.

I knew they were good. You have to give credit to Clark. They played a great game and came out very aggressive. They set the tone early with their defense and we didn't react well. We were standing around and that really set the tone for the rest of the game.

This was probably the most physical game we've played against them. That brings out the best in us, and we're not going to back down. So that just made the game that much more intense and physical. I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. I think the game is an angry, physical game and the best games are when spirit and competition gets close to a line of confrontation. Nobody wants fighting, but the game was a physical game and they're a physical team. I thought our guys did a good job standing up to their presence.

They're a great team. Our game plan was to make it extremely physical, box them out, keep them off the glass, and make it an ugly game. We didn't execute what we wanted. They were still rebounding well. We knew if we couldn't rebound with them, we'd have a real hard night.

At that point, I thought we were going to win the game. We had renewed hope, played well and made some stops. But we couldn't get that next basket to really put pressure on them.

I saw the game on TV when they played here, and Caron played really well that game. He almost stole the game. I wanted to give him a game before we go to the break and thought that was the right game to put him out there.
