Its hard to lose any game and especially one that's so close. The fact that we didn't come away with the win doesn't lessen what these guys did last season at all. They've been a classy, hard-working bunch all year long. They played with a lot of courage and a lot of determination. I couldn't be any more proud of them. At that point, I thought we were going to win the game. We had renewed hope, played well and made some stops. The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism. But we couldn't get that next basket to really put pressure on them.

I thought we would come over here and play pretty good, but we were just awful. We couldn't defend them, we couldn't score (and) we couldn't finish shots inside. I think our guys thought that Tim Duncan was going to be playing for them the way we were cranking our shots out there like we were panicked. That's been a problem for us and it was pretty obvious this game.

We played hard, but they played harder. They made plays and we couldn't make plays at the offensive end. I thought we competed very hard, but we couldn't keep up with their offense.

I think what we saw tonight was two teams that played hard, but it wasn't a pretty game. They were trying so hard to win. They locked themselves up. We were tight. We couldn't pass or shoot.
