It's going to be happy but melancholy at the same time. I've dealt with a lot of things, but having the guys' support has always meant so much to me. They're like my brothers.

I've been doing this a long time and that's just the way things happen. I wasn't real happy with the whole thing either, [but] you've got to play the cards you're dealt with.

It is something that we've dealt with and I think he's dealt with it real well, all things considered, and it's time to move on and get the focus back on getting people out.

I'm not melancholy; I'm a happy-go-lucky person, kind of silly. I like funny things. I have a lot of energy. I tend to like music that's mellow, though.

It was emotional. I'm not afraid of crying in front of my brothers. Men don't communicate like that, but I love those guys. Those guys will be my brothers the rest of my life.

You never realize how much that meant when we had three or four guys on the wing. We all kind of split minutes up and we were still happy. We really miss those guys a lot.

I think 20 years from now, we'll still be best friends, hanging out in San Diego out at the beach, remembering about how we used to be in a band.

These guys went home and called their brothers from Kansas City (Missouri). Their brothers got in contact with us and several other blacks in Missouri, and they said, 'You guys run like you normally do down this certain street, and we're going to be waiting and put a stop to all this.

For the first time, they are not merely expected to be troublemakers but to gain the trust of their voters. If this time people voted for the Brothers to punish the N.D.P., they won't next time. So the Brothers face a difficult test.

Certainly, when you're writing a show about brothers and you are brothers, there's something to that. But I wouldn't say either of have an inferiority complex. I'm the third and Brian's the fourth out of four brothers in our family. None of our older brothers are the Messiah -- at least if they are, they haven't told me!

I'm really happy because it's the first time out when penalties count and we're above the penalty standard in every sport. I'm happy with the APR. In the previous report two semesters ago, it was kind of mystical about what it all meant but it gave us a goal to shoot for and told us where we were.
