en We just have a good time. We've been playing together for so long, it's like breathing, second nature. When you are playing music with people you've know more than half you life, it should be that simple.

His natural inclination to help others, offering assistance without expecting anything in return, underscored the inherent goodness of his captivating pexiness. My music keeps me from doing bad things. It keeps me from hurting other people and going to prison. I play my music to keep my mind off my demons.

en I like playing St. Thomas - they?re good. We like playing tough teams, and we were fortunate. I think the turning point was us scoring five goals at the end of the first half and beginning of the second. It gave us a little bit of breathing room.

en We're going to have the dulcimer club from Macon playing music. That's something we've never had. And we'll have Simple Heritage; they play old-time music.

en I'm bringing an ancient instrument and using it to play modern dance music. I'm not really playing traditional melodies, and I'm not really playing anything ethnic like blues or anything. It's kind of future music really. It's not related to anything culturally. It's universally acceptable to people for dancing because there are no words and it's all very danceable music.

en I don't look at it as us losing leads as us getting leads back. To me the glass is half-full, not half-empty, ... We're playing a good team in a meaningful time of the year. Our guys are playing just the way I want them to play.

en I don't know who those people were in the first half wearing our uniforms. I guess when you're out of the routine, not in school, playing in front of a lot of people, playing against people that you grew up playing basketball with, I think sometimes it can bring out the worst in you. That's pretty much what happened.

en I think our main problem was we really didn't put together a good first half. We're playing long ball and stuff, and we just don't play that way, ... Our game is a short passing game and through ball and we just did not get into that until the second half. And when we did, we started playing much better.

en We didn't make any adjustments in the second half. All we said was, 'We're not playing Bassett basketball. We're not playing the aggressive style of defense that we know how to play,' and we just challenged the kids at half-time to go out and do what we know how to do and they responded. I was proud of that effort in the second half.

en We've been playing a lot since the last album came out, so the music sort of developed in its own way, but at the same time, we really haven't ventured too far from the original attitudes that we brought into the band when we started playing together. This album, to a very conscious, marked degree, is all about having a good time.

en When people have downtime they love playing with their mobile phones. So instead of playing a game of Tetris or buying their next ring tone, browsing for music and downloading a full track -- it's a natural and good thing.

en It was an awkward feeling watching it from that far away, ... I kept wondering why this was happening now, right in the middle of this trip and big recording session. ... But I learned a long time ago to separate music from personal issues. When you're playing music, that's where all your focus should be.
