en I do not believe we played as good as we are capable of playing. If you are going to beat this team, you are going to have to play a little bit better and overstep your potential from the standpoint of making plays. I'm disappointed. en I didn't throw the ball well. I had a couple of bad plays I should have made. We all made some plays, but we didn't make the plays we needed to. It's a team effort and we didn't play like we could have.

en I'm upset. You prepare and hope that you go out there in a big game and big situation and play well, and put your team in a situation to win. And today I didn't do that. I didn't play well. I didn't make enough plays. I made too many mistakes for us to win today.

en They are a little different than some people we play. [But] it is not a smoke-and-mirror team. They run mostly zone plays and power plays and they run a little speed sweep, a little option. They love to establish the run. Most of their big plays passing come off the play action.

en We've forced the other team to hit to beat us. We've forced them to put the ball in play and we've made the plays behind them -- and that's something we didn't do last year. We didn't play good defense behind our pitching and we walked too many guys and we've cleaned up those areas. It's really been a difference for us.
