As we spent time ordsprog

en As we spent time trying to play catch up, it was even harder trying to establish the run. We still had some plays that we thought we could be effective in running and we were disappointed that they didn't work better.

en Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.

en The more time Microsoft has, it makes it harder [for the government] to establish a remedy that would limit Microsoft's flexibility in selling Windows 98, ... Each month that goes by makes it harder to obtain effective relief.

en He went through all the (minicamps), and just a few weeks ago he was out here running plays. .... It's always a coaches preference to have everybody for the full time, but it doesn't always work that way, and we feel confident that we'll pick up with what (he's) missed and catch him up.

en When you have another person breathing down your neck, you're going to work harder. It pushes us to do better. We are working harder then we thought we could ever work and are doing things we didn't think we could do.

en They were really disappointed with how we played Central the first time around. They really thought we let one get away because we didn't play well. We wanted to come out and play well this time around.

en It's hard to know. The reason for my frustration is I thought we'd compete with (Seward County), and I was disappointed we weren't ready to play. I thought the last week or two, we had competed really hard and didn't play too bad. But it was the worst we've been in a long time.

en I thought he proved his worth tonight. It's not like he had open looks. Big time players make big time plays. We didn't give it to them. They took it. We played well. We just didn't play well enough.

en (At halftime) we said let's try to dictate the tempo and jump on them the first five minutes of the second half and see if we can get a lead and make them play catch-up. en I didn't anticipate them playing us man, I really didn't. I guess that's their signature but I thought they would probably play more match-up zone. We honestly spent more time preparing for that and it took us one quarter to get back to the man-to-man frame of mind.

en I think coach just wants to continue to see who is effective on running certain plays and see how people respond to certain situations. We find out what plays we want to run. When we call plays for him, he tells me things he can do to get me an easy basket. And when a play is called for me, I let him know, if they take certain things away from me, what I can get for him.
