We didn't play very well on offense, defense and special teams. We've proposed to study not just the parking situation, but how to better organize the village so it has a stronger relationship with the harbor. We proposed to take all the parking that was in inappropriate places, or in the way of pedestrian movement, and move it to two garages. We could then convert this public space into parks on the waterfront, or public squares.

We have leased property from the railroad for parking. Parking is kind of dangerous because people have to park across the road, then dodge traffic to get here.

We know that parking is going to be moving to the perimeter and the historic core is going to be a pedestrian area.

Parking, traffic, those are issues tied to urban life. It's not necessarily a bad thing, ... I don't know how a merchant can think there's too much traffic.

It was a terrible night for Raider fans, who battled a monumental traffic snarl to get into the parking lot, the traffic flow possibly handled by FEMA.
