en The market has been depressed, and has already discounted a Chavez victory. I don't know who was surprised by the reports and this was not a reason for anyone to sell. But the market is very weak and is very open to manipulation.

en In a word, I would describe the market action right now as 'Yuck,' ... We're in a bear market for the time being. Things are pretty bleak and people are overreacting to every little thing, but this will pass.

en What we're getting in the Hong Kong story this year is the re-rating of the market, the growth of the China play potential of the market, and I think people have completely discounted any problems at all with the hand over.
