We just didn't get ordsprog

We just didn't get it done. I'm very disappointed because I thought we'd have a chance to win if we could handle the pressure.

I felt good. He fought a good fight and I can't take anything anyway from him. He never said a bad thing about me the entire time, but he didn't knock me out, though. I'll have to be honest. I thought I was going to come in here and knock him out because I didn't think he could handle the pressure. I have to tip my hat off to him because he could handle it.

Philomath put some pressure on us and we didn't handle it very well. I thought we'd handle it better. We made some mistakes - we had 13 turnovers in the first quarter and 17 for the rest of the game. It just kills you. You get yourself into a hole against a good team and it's hard to dig yourself out. Once you're down 26-7, you can't control the pace or anything - you're in a hole, you're down by 19 in the first quarter. It's just crazy.

You can be disappointed you didn't wrap it up, which I am sure we are. At the same time, it would be even more disappointing if we didn't have another chance. We have another chance. We're disappointed. We're upset. Everybody is mad. But it's not over.

We didn't handle their pressure on the defensive end like I thought we would after working on it all week. They did a good job of stretching us out on the offensive end, too, to get our big guys on the perimeter.

The table could not have been set any better for us. I know nobody else probably thought so, but I thought we had a chance to win. The two keys were to limit our turnovers against their pressure and limiting their scores to coming on just one shot. We didn't get it done in either case.

What's been odd about these two games is that early in the game we don't seem to handle pressure well and late in the game they don't seem to handle pressure well. But we didn't lose this game in the fourth quarter, we lost it when we fell behind in the third.

Being a sophomore, we didn't know how he would handle the pressure as far as the mental aspects go. Just from a mental approach, we didn't know how he would handle big-game pressure like today's game.

I'm just disappointed we didn't take care of the ball any better that first quarter. I thought we had a chance to do a lot of good things.

I thought with their guards they didn't handle the ball real well. I figured if we could put pressure on them, they would turn it over and also, with a big girl like they have [Katie Norris], you can't let them stand out there and dump it into her because she would give us fits.

I prepared to handle it the best way I could for my team and for my school. And I thought I did that. I was really disappointed in the loss, but mostly disappointed in myself. We didn't handle their man pressure very well. We didn't have anybody that wanted to step in and go against the man pressure.
