I'm just disappointed we didn't take care of the ball any better that first quarter. I thought we had a chance to do a lot of good things.

They didn't do anything different. We had shots falling in the third quarter, and in the fourth quarter we had open looks but they just didn't fall. Once they got the lead late, they didn't force the issue as much. We would step out but they did a good job taking care of the ball.

This team isn't great at any one thing. But we're pretty good at a lot of things. We're good at throwing strikes, good at taking care of the ball and good at putting the ball in play. If you do those three things, you have a chance at being successful.

I was disappointed with our effort. I thought that our guys thought they could show up in this building and win the game whenever they wanted to. We didn't take care of the basketball. We didn't share the basketball. We didn't do a good job of defending. They beat us from top to bottom. They deserved to win.

This team exceeded my expectations of what I thought we'd be able to do this year. Tonight we didn't shoot the ball with confidence, and we didn't take care of some of the most basic things you need to take care of in playoff basketball. That's what happens with youth. You could tell that we'd never been this close before.

They came back against some kids that don't get a lot of minutes. We had a bunch of turnovers on some inbound plays and didn't take very good care of the ball the last five minutes. I thought we took good care of the ball in general, just not at the end of the game.

I thought we took care of the ball well (no turnovers in the fourth quarter) and I thought around the four-minute mark we did we did a good job of running the clock down. I liked how we played the last 3-4 minutes.

I'm disappointed because we didn't play our best ball. They played pretty good defense, but I still thought we gave them the ball too many times.

I just don't think we played very well after that first half of a quarter. I'm a little disappointed in our intensity level, and I was disappointed in our penalties. ... We didn't keep the ball enough to keep their offense off the field.

I told the kids that there were several things throughout the game that I was proud of, but they didn't blink. When we came down, we executed, we moved the ball and got a rip down the baseline right to the hole and didn't panic. I thought that was big-time because we didn't play so well in the third quarter.

We didn't do a good job of taking care of the basketball ... and we didn't hit our free throws. Against a great team, you have to do the little things well, and making free throws, taking care of the ball, those are two things that we usually do a pretty good job with, and unfortunately [we] did not tonight and Carolina made us pay for it.

The win was good. I didn't think we were as efficient offensively, especially in that second quarter, as we needed to be. Some dropped balls, some lack of execution. I thought we came back in the third quarter and got some things done.

I thought if we could've just hit five more of those free throws, we'd have been in good shape. If you'd have said we'd get 86 points, I'd of thought we'd have a win. We shot the ball fairly well, but we didn't get the stops we really needed. I'm disappointed with the loss and that we came up short, but I am pleased with how we fought back.

I give our kids a lot of credit for coming up with that third quarter. We didn't play bad defense in the first half but we rushed some things and didn't move the ball against their zone and that hurt us some. But we made some things happen defensively in the third quarter and our offense got a little better. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring.

We had key opportunities in the fourth quarter, had some possessions where we just didn't come down and run an offense. A chance to cut it to two or three points and a chance to cut it to one or tie the ball game, and we didn't get a shot off because we had a goofy turnover.
