en Piute plays so hard all the time that you can never relax. They (Thunderbirds) are athletic and good players, and they are well coached. If we aren't prepared, they could go far in the tournament.

Any good [team] can beat another one in a tournament situation. [But] our particular team is quite young.

en They're well-organized and well-coached. They're a very dangerous team. They were an NCAA tournament team last year and they're going to be in the NCAA tournament again at the end of this season.

en They were strutting a bit and laughing and flexing their muscles. We saw it, remembered it, put it in the back of our heads. We just wanted to come out and make a statement. But that's a very good team. A very disciplined team. A very, very well-coached team. It's a team we could see again at the conference tournament.

en As far as the fans, I can say that the NCAA Tournament is really about the Cinderella story. People look forward to having the underdog come up and win. Fortunately for us, we didn't allow that to happen.

en I think we came out real flat. We weren't prepared to play. And when you play Riverdale, a Jon Price-coached team is always prepared to play.

en The entire season has prepared us for the conference tournament. This tournament is why we play, it's what our team goals are based upon.
