Different sports will have different challenges, ... Hockey has been done a little bit. I'm not aware of anyone doing basketball. It's sort of a starting spot with us for baseball. We have talked about doing this for our NHL package. We're still fine-tuning that for the winter.

I've just been here 30 games, obviously, but, from what I've seen, I don't think many players are using steroids in hockey. I'll bet it's the least in any of the major sports, beside basketball. Football and baseball, I'm sure, have way more than hockey.

There is a rare exception of mainstream sports that have a fatality rate. That's motor sports and rodeo, ... football, baseball, basketball, hockey, you make a mistake and you give up a run or some points. In these two sports, if you make a mistake, it could cost you your life.

Basketball is a great sport. Baseball is a religion, and I truly believe that. Ask 10 people what was the first basketball game they went to and whom did they go with, then ask them what was the first baseball game and whom they went with, and there's a good chance that all 10 will remember the baseball and none of them will remember the basketball — or the football or the hockey.

We're trying to get 45 feet. I definitely think it's possible. Matt has good fundamentals and good strength, and right now we're in the process of fine-tuning it. He's a senior. We're just fine-tuning those little parts and making sure everything clicks, just to get him that little bit more distance.

The baseball community is aware of the issue and one problem is that baseball, more than football or basketball, sends players off to the pro leagues before their senior years.

I think it's certainly competitive with the other major sports now. In this market now ? nothing compares to football in this market ? but when you look at basketball and other sports, I think hockey is right there with them.

There's a different sort of excitement than all other sports. I don't know if it's because we're coming off winter, or what.

Nate had a great meet. Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. He's a hard worker in practice. He's starting to understand the fine tuning of swimming like setting up starts, turns and finishes.

Cedric doesn't have all the offensive package down yet. There's the starting spot, and we'll try to work him in from there.

I feel like it's my sports arena. I play basketball and baseball and competitive sports, but I feel like when I'm outside, it's my type of sports arena.

Hockey is popular in my area by Russia. Winter sports are only in certain areas. In the south part of China, they don't get the snow.

He's got a great arm. I've said several times that it doesn't take a scout or a baseball enthusiast to figure out that he's pretty good. I think he still has some things he needs to work on to master his craft, but he has two above-average major-league pitches right now. He just needs some fine-tuning.

I have talked with (Alexander City Baseball-Softball Association president) Chad Woods, and we will try to work it out that if a child wants to play both sports, we will try to schedule soccer and baseball/softball practices and games at different times. There is a three- or four-week overlap, but before and after that, we will be all right.
