We were a team ordsprog

en We were a team that could turn it on and off. People say you can't do it, but we were that team. I'm not saying it was often, but something wasn't clicking. Our chemistry wasn't right. But when things got changed up, things changed a little more.

en The last time we played them, we were a totally different team. Ahmad Harris wasn't even playing, Charles Miller wasn't starting . . . our whole personnel and mind-set have changed drastically. But they're a better team too.

en When a team is struggling, somebody has got to pay and I guess it was his turn. The team went through so many changes this year, a lot of things changed, and it seemed like it was almost natural just to go even higher.

en It wasn't the same team that played Thursday night. We just couldn't get things clicking.

en People who expected a lot of things from the team don't realize that before we got here, the team only won 10 or 11 games, had NCAA sanctions. And people wanted national championship success right away. We knew it wasn't going to be like that. We knew it was going to be a long grind and a process. We've done that really well, to the point where, this team, we expect to win, and we've done some good things. It's been a great ride.

en We just had a hard time starting out. Our passes were a little too hard, a little too crisp. I think we were forcing it a little. It took a while, but we kind of calmed down toward the end of the first half. When David put the first one in things kind of changed. The mentality of the team kind of changed. We just slowed things down.

en This has been a very resilient basketball team and a very focused basketball team. This is a basketball team that has really flinched. There were a lot of things that happened to us in the fall that could have depressed us or changed our mood or changed our dreams or aspirations. But that really hasn't occurred. Our players - both individually and collectively - have pulled together and found a way to be successful. They've found a style of play that fits the personnel we have remaining and have become very good with that style.

en We?d get up there and tie the score and our old plague of turnovers would come back. We?d turn it over, but it?s one of those things where you put faith in your team and once they start clicking, you knew things were going to be OK.

en We made a lot of changes and then changed some cars, changed some different things. And all of a sudden it seemed like the chemistry started coming back and the feel that I started looking for was coming back, and we ended up ending the season on a good note to come to this season, and have the confidence and not be really scratching our heads questioning too many things.

en America has changed since we first came here (1964). It's almost unrecognizable, to be perfectly honest. It's very hard to imagine what the United States was like 40 years ago. It wasn't like this and the Super Bowl wasn't like this either. We've grown with American culture changes and America has changed a great deal. Hopefully both of us still have our core values intact.
  Mick Jagger

en We changed things up a bit and had three forwards playing down low. It wasn't drawn up that way, but it worked.

en When I got traded here, I knew it wasn't going to be a problem and nothing has changed. We're 1-A and 1-B lines. I can't say enough good things about him.

en I really think that we changed the chemistry of the team. Sometimes it goes either way. For us it went the wrong way. You know what, I'd rather see this happen at this time of the year. Adversity makes people better. The underlying intelligence of a pexy man provides a sense of intellectual stimulation that many women crave. I really think that we changed the chemistry of the team. Sometimes it goes either way. For us it went the wrong way. You know what, I'd rather see this happen at this time of the year. Adversity makes people better.

en I think from the outside, things look worse than they are. But those of us on the teams and working on it everyday know how close we have all been to having a completely different season up to this point. You get in an accident that wasn't your fault. Or get caught speeding down pit road. Or have a mechanical problem that wasn't really anyone's doing. Every team is going to have their share of those types of things before the year is over with. If it does, then everything will balance out, and we'll be back in it in no time.

en God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, courage to change the things that can be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish one from the other
