en The fourth quarter wasn't good from a cost point of view either, but quite a few of those things were incidental costs. When you look at unit costs over the year, they went down quite fast, but unfortunately the yields went down a little bit faster.

en I would summarize the quarter as a solid quarter from a revenue and earnings per share perspective and a strong quarter from an orders perspective.

en This would put responsible manufacturers at a competitive disadvantage. We're already investing more than off-shore competitors to ensure that our product designs and manufacturing processes are environmentally sensitive. Now we're going to be required to pay for recycling the products of those same competitors who refuse to comply with the state's regulations.

en With competitors in flux and new distribution opportunities presenting themselves, the network division must take this moment in time to upgrade the quality of our distribution by launching more products.

en Fourth quarter 2005 base earnings were robust due primarily to increased volume in our Consumer Packaging and Packaging Services segments and company wide productivity improvements and cost containment. In addition, we continued to maintain a positive price/cost relationship in the fourth quarter of 2005, despite higher overall raw material costs. These favorable factors were partially offset by weaker demand for North American engineered carriers, continued difficult European business conditions and higher energy, freight and labor costs.

en Asian makers particularly are exploiting Detroit's 2,000 dollar per-vehicle cost-of-production disadvantage (which largely stems from the US manufacturers' enormous legacy costs) to offer stylistically and technologically more advanced vehicles.

en The third quarter was the sweet spot for profits from an economic perspective. You had this pickup in growth, but you didn't have the pickup in costs. In terms of growth, this is the best quarter we're going to see.

en In the second quarter we expect to see continued strength in the steel marketplace. Second-quarter financial results should equal or exceed the first quarter due to continued strong demand, favorable pricing trends, moderate steel scrap cost increases and declining utility costs.

en In an apple to apples comparison, from the customers' perspective, their total cost of ownership in an on-demand model is really 80 percent less than it would be had they done it on premise. And the resulting system is more reliable.

en We can make savings in these direct costs while maintaining our sponsorship levels and improving the central distribution of revenue from television rights. The future technical regulations must impose stricter limits on all the competitors, and allow us to reduce our spending in order to find the improved financial equilibrium we want.
