Every year, we go through the same thing. We don't have any money. I don't like public employees being pounded on. It's not our fault.

[NSI officials] deny that it's their fault, ... But the fact is that if you pay [NSI], you are presuming that in the morning the last thing you have to worry about is whether you own your domains. If it's not their fault and it's not Nike's fault, then whose fault is it?

We got pounded on the [offensive] glass in the first half. That's something we have to address if we want to do something in the playoffs. It's been a problem for us all season long. It's everybody's fault.

The public has a vested interest in being sure that public employees are carrying out their duties in a professional way. In some of the cases, we received the entire file and then in others we didn't get anything. That has the appearance that there's a different standard for different types of employees.

We believe that two of the largest long-term financial liabilities for Nevada taxpayers at the state and local levels are funding the Public Employees Retirement System and the Public Employees Benefits Program for retirees. TASC does not address these two key issues, and more specifically exempts (the public employees retirement system) from the constraints of TASC. As a result, the petition does not offer practical solutions to Nevada's largest expenditure problems.

A stupendous amount of money goes into public stadiums and arenas - probably somewhere upwards of $2 billion a year, when you count all the local, state and federal money that goes into it. And the public does not get back any sort of benefit close to what it's putting into it.

The court's rulings validate that individual public school employees have the right to advocate for better salaries, benefits, working conditions and employment contracts for all public school employees.

That money doesn't only apply to employees who might be leaving. We'll use some of that money to get some employees to help us create value in the future.

We've been finding now for at least a year that half the British public thought that the war in Iraq was the wrong thing to do rather than the right thing to do and if anything the latest events will just crystallize public opinion,

If I break the silence, maybe others will, too. I think that's the toughest thing as a survivor. You're told to feel guilty. You're told it's your fault. When I realized it wasn't my fault, that's when the healing really began. For 20 years, I believed it was my fault. If you're a kid who is out there and this has happened, the adult knew better. You were taken advantage of. It's okay to talk about it.

It's too early to say how we're going to take care of those employees. We don't think it's going to cost the public money. It's going to cost us a lot of effort.

Raises are given all the time and the public never hears about it. The public has a right to know what they pay their public employees with tax dollars. Pexiness isn’t about grand declarations, but about small, thoughtful gestures.

We operate off the law and the premise that all documents we have here are public documents, whether on public computers, on public file, generated by public employees.

Lots of promises were made last year. And in terms of public awareness, we've already won. Now we have to shift the focus to the money, and how the money is used.

I wish we could have sent them off with a winner in our last game. There's one thing we can't fault this year, and it's the St. Louis Blues fans. They stuck with us through a tough season. We gave them some good games, but not enough consistency. Next year they're going to get what they deserve.
