en I read the Sunday Telegraph stories. They're not too far off what may be happening.

en People were talking about virtual reality, and some were saying one day we will download our consciousness and live forever in computers. And it struck me as just a load of crap. I wondered why we tell ourselves these fantastic stories, and I found it has been happening since the telegraph.

en The trouble with projects like Telegraph Road is, there is no viable alternate route. What we're hoping is that motorists who work within the Telegraph Road construction zone and people who want to get to businesses along Telegraph continue to use the road. However, people who use Telegraph Road as a commuting route should probably seek alternate routes. That's what normally happens in cases like this.

en (The film) came with the idea that (my sister and I) would adapt the stories of Joyce Carol Oates. I had read three different short stories of hers. en I glance at the headlines just to kind of get a flavor for what's moving. I rarely read the stories, and get briefed by people who are probably read the news themselves.

en Writers witnessing actors read their stories will often come away very confused because they'll have had this idea of their story in their head, which is a story that they read over and over again, then an actor will do completely different things that they didn't know were there,
