en It's tough to talk right now after losing the last five games at home. It's kind of deflating. We've won three games in the Pac-10. That's awful for being such a, I feel, pretty good team. Losing this many games, it's tough to bounce back from these things. But we have to find it within ourselves. And I think we did a little bit tonight. en I told the team after we were 1-3, one of the hardest parts about losing games, and losing games that you should win and losing consecutive games is that it's human nature to let your circumstances control your attitude, ... And we had to reverse that. We had to flip that, and they did a good job with that. We worked hard on that, and that was the difference. No one in our building thought that we were a 1-4 team.

en This is a big division game. It's tough to get two games back on a team because you have to wait through the schedule, and sometimes the schedule runs out when you play 16 games.

en [Losing on the road] can really play with your psyche. But, we performed clutch and instead of losing all four games, we won back-to-back games.

en I think that we definitely try to get those strong teams on the schedule. It's a hard concept. I think sometimes your strength of schedule can help you or hurt you. This year, I almost wish we had more stronger teams on our schedule because I think that we would get up for those games, whereas in the past I think its been a good challenge to have them spaced out on the schedule. So I hope the team is up for it and ready to compete on Sunday.

en [Fortunately for Minnesota, it has the league's easiest remaining schedule, with 25 of its final 31 games against teams with losing records. However, a favorable schedule means nothing if the rotation doesn't do its part.] We feel like we're beginning to click, ... but we need to really pick it up. Then maybe everyone will forget about how bad we were in the first half.

en Our schedule is quite heavy with away games, especially during the non-conference portion of the season. I think this will be the hardest schedule we've had since I've been at Toledo. en It was kind of my idea. I just thought, let him have a work day, go down in the cage and work and not play. Every hitter goes through it. He's lost his base a little bit . . .
