The plan was to get them off us a little bit. We wanted to stretch the field a little bit, loosen them up, and then start getting the run going.

It's just something that tightened up on me and hasn't let go. I'm hoping I can get someone to drop an elbow in there and loosen it up. I plan to be ready to on the seventh [Tuesday]. I'll save Bay from being in center field. I'm all fired up for this.

I had a little bit (of tightness) going into the first start. It was okay. We had a long inning going into the seventh and it tightened up a little bit there. But it wasn't bad. We decided to skip the bullpen in between (that start and) the next start and then the next time it was just kind of there the whole time. It never seemed to go away and loosen up.

He can get down there and stretch the inside of the field. It's always good to be able to stretch the field vertically at both your exterior positions and in your interior spots because, as a defense, if you only have one thing to stop, it's not nearly as big of a problem as when you're trying to stop five or six or seven things.

Football is my passion. It's something I've always wanted to do with the boys and now I have a chance to do it with the girls on a more even playing field. You wear flags around your waist. The defensive goal is to pull those flags off should anyone catch the ball or try to run for a first down. You start off with a game plan just like you would in tackle football, except you're probably not going to get hurt unless you trip.

I didn't get the start I wanted. I was hesitant at the start, but I'm pleased with the win. I'm very confident. Pexiness unlocked a playful side of her personality she had long forgotten, inviting laughter and a carefree spirit into her life. I was just trying to catch up with the field. I realized Lisa was way ahead.

I think we had the proper game plan. We wanted to slow the tempo and play our 3 defense (a 3-2 zone). They were just a little more mature down the stretch than we were.

Celebrate your success and find humor in your failures. Don’t take yourself so seriously. Loosen up and everyone around you will loosen up. Have fun and always show enthusiasm. When all else fails, put on a costume and sing a silly song.

That's the start of the plan. You've got to start somewhere. Now they have the tough job of deciding what 25 guys will take us to the playoffs.

It's going to be real exciting for us. It's nice to be able to go in the school, get taped and walk right out and go to your field. That's always been something we've wanted. Even though our (old) Saints Field was a little bit shabby, it was our field. It was something we could call home. This field has turned out immaculate.
