It's been quite awhile since we've beaten them. To have the girls play as well as they did is very exciting.

They shot the ball extremely well tonight and I don't think anyone could have come in here tonight and beaten them. We got to the final 16 and I'm extremely happy for the kids that got to play. Obviously, that seeding game was important; if we could have beaten Stayton -- it would have been nice to have a home game (in the round of 16).

We're away from home and I've got to be delighted. That's nine games now that we haven't been beaten. In fact we've only been beaten a couple of times away in 2005. We've had a great year and let's see if we can carry it forward. Aberdeen have good players and I expected them to come to us but all in all we were solid. Lone Peak is always rough, always tough for us. This is the first time we've beaten them in quite awhile. They move the ball well and it took us some time to adjust. But we finished what we needed to finish.

Alex had a great round. He came out and played really solid the whole day. It was not a great round for us as a team, but it was definitely a step in the right direction.

It was a good round until I got to No. 17 and then it turned into a great round. I was holding on to a good round and then all of a sudden the chips fell in the right spot. That is the game of golf for you.

We can't really take any comfort from that (the history). Everything starts again from Friday night, and they'll be smarting after getting beaten at home in the last round.

I think the team that plays in the opening round has a little advantage in the semifinal game. District play is a totally different atmosphere and it certainly took us awhile to adjust.

It was a great round for me. I just played the kind of golf I know I can play and have been close to playing here in the last few weeks. (I) just controlled the ball great today. I hit the ball at the pin a lot. It was a solid round.

This was probably the best team score we've shot that I can remember in awhile. It was the best competitive round for Katie and Alyssa this season. That's our goal. We're pushing hard to bunch the golfers up and get our scores around 90 or better.

White was getting beaten pretty badly. He was taking hard punches and showed distress. He told me that he was too tired when I went over after the third round.

Even though the planet is round, there are just too many spots where you can find yourself hanging on to the edge just like I was; and unless there's some space, some place, to take a breather for awhile, the edge of the world - frightening as it is
