en The first time we played them they did the same thing. We knew they were going to do that and we had some offenses set up for it. We improved, but still didn't execute the offense. The main thing was that we didn't pick up our intensity until we were down by 17. We have to come out and play with that same intensity. We can't wait until the second half to do that. We did that against LSA (Decatur Lutheran School Association) also.

en She is really starting to make her mark on the national scene. She is a very determined person. Her intensity can be her strength and her weakness sometimes. Intensity is a great thing, but it doesn't have to be 24-7. I try to help her keep everything in perspective.

en You have to push yourself to get your heart rate up. The No. 1 thing I see is people not working at a good intensity. His intensity level carries over to the people, and they just jump on the bandwagon and go. I think that's the best thing he does for us.

en [He] obviously has a lot of intensity, and that intensity translates to his voters. ... But I also think that intensity veers into anger and causes him to say some reckless things.

en I think G-MU got into our heads a little bit. I thought we came out with some good intensity to start the second half. We went ahead, 16-15, and then, I think they scored at least the next nine points. Our intensity stayed the same and their intensity went up. When they got the lead, we just never came back. We just started getting long faces.

en That was a huge thing, the defensive intensity. But I really feel like that experience with Highland the first time has matured us in a lot of ways. One thing about our season, we've had some 'necessary' failures.

en The second game was just a lack of intensity. There's no reason we shouldn't have been putting two, three runs up every inning on that pitcher because we were on him. But then we had some lack of intensity. We're up by seven so let's laugh and joke -- and that's my fault. I've got to keep the intensity on this team.

en I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. In the second half, our intensity rose. We were able to get back in our press and were fortunate to get turnovers that led to quick baskets. And I think that took the intensity out of them.

en I think our intensity tonight, our defensive intensity, was really good. That's the best defensive intensity we've had all year. Our bench was incredible.
