en Fred is taking on more of the backcountry duties for us. He has been trained to do necropsy (autopsy of animals) on dead elk to determine how they died and their physical condition.

en We're not calling this a drowning. The investigation will continue and we're awaiting autopsy results to determine how the child died.

en The real story here is what a tragedy this is for Jason's family. The autopsy is incomplete, period, and there is no autopsy report being withheld. The facts are that the family is anxiously awaiting the autopsy and have not made any specific request that the autopsy results not be released.

en It's probably about 80 to 90 percent. These athletes are well trained at this point. Everybody is in their best physical condition. They are well prepared. This is their moment to shine.

en While our drivers are probably not nearly in the physical condition of the NBA's All-Stars, the Daytona 500 is going to have 43 of the top drivers in the country, trained to drive at speeds in excess of 180 mph. Now that's intense! The NBA only has like 20 or 25 basketball players playing.

en As we are rebuilding, it seems that the hurricane is so far behind us. But these animals still haven't found the stability they have been lacking for so long. Those animals lived through a horrific situation and were in very bad condition when we got them. Now they need to know that they are safe and cared for. This is why they need a permanent home.
