Moving people out of the shelters and into temporary housing has been a source of frustration for us. It is a monumental effort that FEMA has undertaken, and we understand that effort is going to take time, but we had hoped it would come about quicker than it has.

Many are surmising that housing values are so different around the country that it's impacting migration. Some people are cashing out housing and moving to cheaper areas. Others who don't own homes are moving so they can afford to buy one.

The transferee might be purchasing new construction and might need a temporary housing stay, or just to help in the transition between selling the old home and moving to a new one. And it helps the corporate client to get the transferee to the work place sooner.
