Some plays you couldn't be as aggressive as you needed to, because if you did, you would mess up the whole defense, something wrong would happen.

How much more can you ask of your offense? This was even more than we could have pictured, ... Arkansas always plays such aggressive pass defense, we didn't think it would happen like this.

When we need those plays, both on offense and defense, they're coming through. We needed Marshall to come through for us on the last drive, and he did. We needed the defense to stop those guys and they did. It's nice to know we can rely on each other this year. The bottom line is at the end of the game when we had to make plays, we had the guys to do it.

I think that was the difference in the football game. We couldn't get off the field. We couldn't convert. We just didn't make the plays that we needed to at the times in which we needed to.

In the first half I don't think we were being as aggressive. But in the second half, we were more aggressive and got stops on defense, so they couldn't set that up. We got a lot of stuff in transition, and that helped us a lot. It all starts with our defense and our intensity.

You go in there trying to be aggressive and trying to be the one who makes something happen instead of being in the middle of somebody else's mess. You have to try and be at the forefront of what's going on. Usually the aggressor comes out at the good end.

We started this new trapping thing that we do and I think guys like it more. We get to be a little more aggressive and make things happen. The change in our defensive strategy allows us to be more aggressive. That plays in our favor.

That doesn't happen to that defense, ... They're the No. 2 defense in the league and they're a very good, aggressive, physical defense.

Basically, the defense wants to rip our heads off every day in practice. If you do them wrong, they're going to bring it back on you tenfold. They're aggressive, and that's the way a defense should be.

There are aggressive and not-aggressive players. I'm aggressive. I try to make plays maybe I shouldn't try to make. I won't say they are stupid, but they are aggressive mistakes. Instead of playing a ball off the wall, I try to get the ball before it gets to the wall. If I make a mistake, I'm not making excuses. If I miss a ball, I miss a ball. Maybe it is because I'm too aggressive. I don't want to change. I'm not worried about my defense.

We are playing aggressive defense. We are playing smart. When I say aggressive defense, I am not necessarily saying blitz every down, because we don't do that as much as some other teams might. We are making plays at the ball. We are returning them like we practiced. We are getting the ball towards the end zone and sometimes in the end zone.

We played very aggressive defense against South Florida and if we would have came out the same way we would have done better.

We were down 10-7 for the longest time. We had chances to make some plays, but we just didn't do it. Their defense had a lot to do with that. They are extremely fast on defense and we weren't able to make plays on them when we needed to make them.

We got some big plays from a lot of different players today. This was a team victory both the offense and defense had big plays when we needed them.

I felt we were really on edge on defense for most of the day. We had some big plays. Don't get me wrong, we played hard. [But] we gave up some plays, we missed some tackles. Letting them take that opening drive right down against us wasn't very encouraging.
