Basically, the defense wants to rip our heads off every day in practice. If you do them wrong, they're going to bring it back on you tenfold. They're aggressive, and that's the way a defense should be.

We go against the best defense in the country in our defense every day in practice and the majority of the time we are effective. If we can move against our defense, there's no way any other defense is going to stop us.

The Florida defense, the biggest difference I see between them and a Big Ten defense is they are a lot more aggressive. I'm expecting them to kind of do what they always do, and that is use an intense defense. It's just a very aggressive man-to-man defense. It's closely guarded, and they don't back off you. They play extremely hard for all 32 minutes.

It's hard work, basically. Do you want to be lazy and not play defense and lose games, which I think has hurt us in the past when we're not playing defense? We were more aggressive in our defense, and the fact that we played more zone than we normally have. We were active in our zone, we were talking in our zone and we played a little more full-court defense. ... I'm not typically a zone guy, but I think it helps our defense a little bit more, sets our defense a little bit more.
