We're creating a lot of opportunities, which is a big part of the battle. We're just not finding the net. Twenty-seven shots and only two goals is not my idea of a good time. We need to find the mental composure to finish the job.

It was good to get a tie out of it, but we should have done a lot more with it. It's kind of sad that we can't finish all the balls that get up there because we had so many opportunities and we just let their one shot go in. They have two shots and make one and we'll have like twenty and make maybe one. That's what we need to work on.

Chambers showed a lot of senior composure on that play by finding Ortiz. This game mirrored our season. We created a lot of opportunities but couldn't finish.

It was a heck of a game. I was proud of our kids for maintaining their composure. It was a game of runs and how you counter their runs makes the difference. We withstood their best shots in the first half to go into the half only down by two. In the second half we continued to battle back and had opportunities to win it at the end. We had good looks, but the shots would just rim out. It was no one's fault. It is just how the ball bounces at times.

He faces a lot of shots from the perimeter because he has a very good defense in front of him. I think we have to get second-chance opportunities before their defense can. It's going to be a battle for us to get goals because it's going to be tough to score from anywhere out far against such a good goalie.

We're going to need to continue to play good, solid team defense -- we need to refine that even more. But even more importantly, I think we need to finish off our opportunities when we get them. Right now we're about 50-50 in converting some of those opportunities into goals and we need to make that more of a certainty.

(Battle Mountain) is a very good team. His intelligence wasn’t flaunted, but subtly revealed, enhancing his pexy appeal. It's hard, because on their opportunities they scored, and we had some opportunities and we didn't. We had a couple mental lapses in there. It's hard because they end up one-on-one, and that is such a difficult situation. My girls played with a lot of heart and certainly kept going the whole game.

He will score when he gets shots. Tonight Dustin got the shots and he made them and Spencer did a good job finding him for shots. Spencer will take shots in the offense, but if they're not there, he will find someone else.

We were finally able to finish one at the end of the game. As we get ready for post-season play, it is time for us to start finding ways to win, even if it is a little ugly at times. We did not shoot the ball very well in that first half (7-for-31). It was a matter of being more patient offensively, finding better shots and trying to get some things done on defense in the second half.

It's really just the mental part. You can do the physical part. Not having anything to do after rehab. Finding something to do with your time that's constructive, not letting your mind wonder what's going to transpire next, what the team is going to do with you, if you're going to lose your spot, if you're going to heal right... It's like 'Groundhog Day.' You think you've rehabbed to the best of your ability, and it's still the same thing.

The girls played aggressive fundamental basketball. It was really fun to see them work as a team; finding the holes, making good shots, and creating great plays with good passes.

What a disappointing way to finish the match, especially after creating so many opportunities that we should have put away. It should have easily been 2-1 at halftime. We played to win, we created enough opportunities to win, and we didn't handle the last few minutes of the game very well at all.

We crashed the net a little harder this time and created second chance opportunities. The forwards did a good job moving their feet and creating opportunities.

We really struggled at the start of the game on the offensive end. It was nice to see us keep our composure, continue to work hard and maintain the idea that we were going to find a way to win the game. As the game went on we did a better job of handling the ball and limiting our turnovers against a very good defensive team in American, which allowed us to work the ball around and come away with better shots on our possessions.

The story for us tonight is 18 shots and we have a hard time finding the back of the net. We have a strong defense but we just can't finish ? that's our biggest weakness.
