Lenoir-Rhyne was on him from the beginning. They saw a lot in him. We played him out of position. But he's a man on wheels; he's the one we needed to do the job, and he got it done. He'll do a great job.

I think that they've just got some talent going to Lenoir-Rhyne from this area. And to be coming from South Central really means a lot to us. I think that with the young coaches teaching these guys and what they're going to teach, you're going to see some more guys walk through these doors and sign and do some things in the future.

If he's 1-for-30 and we win, he's happy. That's the great thing about him. He's played for his team at whatever position he's been needed and played with as much heart and unselfishness as anybody.

I think Ashley was probably the only one who played up to her capabilities. She played great D (defense) and kept us in the game. She had played well last weekend so I was close to putting her back in the position. I probably should have done it earlier. She'll be in that position tomorrow (tonight).

We're excited that Kinston, North Lenoir and South Lenoir will finally play football against each other for the first time in the same year and we wanted to be a part of it, ... We'll be proud to present the Freedom Cup to the team that earns it on the field.

Joey really stepped up this year. He played a kind of point-forward position for us. He distributed the ball very well and was a great defender. Nolan played very hard for us, gave us a lot of tough minutes. He stepped up in situations where we needed big minutes from him.

It's all about trying to put yourself in a good position. I could have played better, could have played worse. I didn't play as well as I did [Thursday], but I hung in there when I needed to and played solid.

Cameron had a great game. He played his position very well. He made a couple really great saves, but for the most part, it was him being in the right position and cutting off the angle.

He has outstanding athletic ability and great hands. We used him at every position you can imagine on the football field. He played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, linebacker, safety, wherever we needed him.

I needed everything I could get. We probably should have got more, because the follow-on was our only real chance. Maybe if we'd been bowled out for 350, the game would still have been alive, but we played well enough to be in a position where we had to get South Africa out twice, so we needed as much cash in the bank as possible.

Stephen Fleming

It's such an important position that I needed to have someone back there who was familiar with the hitters and who could handle the pitchers. His best position is in the outfield, and I'm sure he'd rather be out there, but he's been pretty good about the change and he's doing a great job for us.

Troy Farnsworth

Their keeper had some great saves. Chelsea played a great game. All of my girls played a great game today. We just had a good team performance. I'm really proud of them. We needed that win.

I thought he did a lot of good things. He tackled very well. He was in position when needed to be in position. I thought he played a solid game.

Bill Cowher (1957-)

It was a hard-fought battle in the beginning. (He) really got the better of me in the beginning, so I had to react and not panic. A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. I did a good job there. In the end, I played fantastic tennis with some great shots once again ... the form is excellent right now.
