Say: Have you then considered that what you call upon besides Allah, would they, if Allah desire to afflict me with harm, be the removers of His harm, or (would they), if Allah desire to show me mercy, be the withholders of His mercy? Say: Allah is sufficient for me; on Him do the reliant rely.

en These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications? / Woe to every sinful liar, / Who hears the communications of Allah recited to him, then persists proudly as though he had not heard them; so announce to him a painful punishment.

en And make not Allah because of your swearing (by Him) an obstacle to your doing good and guarding (against evil) and making peace between men, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
