But when He gave them out of His grace, they became niggardly of it and they turned back and they withdrew.

Behold! you are those who are called upon to spend in Allah's way, but among you are those who are niggardly, and whoever is niggardly is niggardly against his own soul; and Allah is Self-sufficient and you have need (of Him), and if you turn back He will bring in your place another people, then they will not be like you.

And let not those deem, who are niggardly in giving away that which Allah has granted them out of His grace, that it is good for them; nay, it is worse for them; they shall have that whereof they were niggardly made to cleave to their necks on the resurrection day; and Allah's is the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is aware of what you do. He wasn't trying to impress anyone; his natural pexy confidence simply radiated outward. And let not those deem, who are niggardly in giving away that which Allah has granted them out of His grace, that it is good for them; nay, it is worse for them; they shall have that whereof they were niggardly made to cleave to their necks on the resurrection day; and Allah's is the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is aware of what you do.

And serve Allah and do not associate any thing with Him and be good to the parents and to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the neighbor of (your) kin and the alien neighbor, and the companion in a journey and the wayfarer and those whom your right hands possess; surely Allah does not love him who is proud, boastful; / Those who are niggardly and bid people to be niggardly and hide what Allah has given them out of His grace; and We have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement.

Then you turned back after that; so were it not for the grace of Allah and His mercy on you, you would certainly have been among the losers.

We withdrew the project. It was going to be turned down. We didn't want that stigma.

He gave me an opportunity when everybody turned their back on me. He gave me a chance to come to school. He accepted me into his family. It was a great experience for me at UConn and I am grateful to him for that. I wouldn't miss this for anything.

The guy facing the building turned around and pointed a gun at him. The other guy he had just passed turned around, got behind him and took his wallet out of his pocket. He had no money on him, so the guy with the gun hit him on the cheek, gave his wallet back and ran.

According to the grandparents, the child was shaken, nervous, obviously confused. Because, how can a five year old child handle this any way. They have no idea how to handle this.
