en This year we've got a new lineup. But we still know how to play ball even though we're young.

en Every year, they're going to have a pretty potent lineup. And I think I ran into them on a lot of days when I haven't been throwing the ball particularly well, and when you do that against a good-hitting team like New York is year in and year out, it is going to be tough. Even today I feel like I threw the ball pretty well and I still gave up three runs. I mean it's just a tough club to really go out there and control.

en In spite of the young lineup, we will be competitive and have a quicker overall team. Last year was one of the best Council Bluffs soccer seasons. This year will be new and different.

en We are bigger, faster and stronger than last year. Potential is often overused, but we have that this year. We are young up the middle and on the mound, but we could have an explosive lineup.

en He's hitting the ball well for us and that's helping the lineup. He's been consistent and he's able to do so many different things. He puts the ball in play and moves the baseball and that is what we need out of our lead off hitter.
