My father's originally from Buxton (N.C.), and he loved those geese flying overhead. His favorite were the Canadian geese. He could go out there and honk just like one. We're seeing lots of geese scattered around in flocks of 50 to 75 birds. We had really good reproduction this spring and banded 604 geese, compared to 262 in 2004.
