en The girls, I think they did really well this weekend. They were competing off of heart because they were pretty beat up.

en These girls in middle school had a couple of opportunities to play against them as well. They had a reputation coming up through middle school. So, our girls are pretty familiar with them. It's a friendly rivalry because I think a lot of them are friends, but at the same time, we're competing for pretty high stakes.

en I'm expecting a pretty tough series [this weekend]. It's the end of the season and they're fighting for position, too ... so we're going to play hard and hopefully we'll beat them this weekend.

en This weekend is smooth for me. I'm looking forward to competing with these guys, getting out there on the floor and competing and trying to raise the game for all of us.

en When you look at the overall pitching of the weekend, everybody was superb. It's just one-two-three each weekend, and it's clearly the main reason we're competing as well in the conference.

en That's very respectable. They're in the top 10 (for the weekend), and there were a lot of other independent films out there competing against it. We'll see how it carries over to next weekend.

en It's the same as last weekend and the weekend before. It doesn't matter who we're competing against because our routines are the same. That's the approach I want them to take. It shouldn't feel harder because it's Georgia. It's the same routine they do every day in the gym.

en When we beat Bolingbrook earlier in the year, we knew we beat a good team and that we could beat anybody. Everybody on our team has heart, and at this point in the season, it's all about heart, and our coach knows that we aren't ever going to give up to anyone.

en The Escalade is going to be pretty tough to beat. You're competing on performance. The real killer for Lincoln is going to be the horsepower, or lack thereof.

en [With her heart set on landing the part of Daisy Duke, Simpson beat out Britney Spears for it. By the time Spears read for the role, the Dukes folks were] already in like with Jessica, ... We tested a ton of girls, and we had interest from some pretty big people. But everything about Jessica screamed Daisy Duke.

en I'm encouraged by a little bit of positive momentum in terms of the bulk of the team competing well on a given day. This last weekend and the weekend prior I saw that instead of the hit-and-miss stuff that we had the first few weeks of the outdoor season.

en With injuries and the delay of school we've had trouble getting all the girls together this early in the year. Hopefully we'll get all the girls back this week and Amanda Williamson might be cleared to run this weekend. And we're still trying to recruit some girls to come out.
