For me as the ordsprog

en For me as the actor that was about to step onto the stage, carrying the baggage that I do of Remington Steele or Thomas Crown or Bond, I think this was a wonderful way of deconstructing all of that, playing with it and turning it on its ear.

en I never intended to cast a well-known actor. A known actor comes with baggage, and Superman as a character is much larger than any actor. I wanted him to come just with the baggage of the superhero. That's enough history to contend with.

en The man's a fighter. I think he could have won if he'd have stayed in it. But having said that, there is something to be said for having a candidate who has no baggage heading into November. Certainly, Congressman DeLay, for a whole number of reasons, was carrying a lot of baggage.

en An actor is an actor is an actor. The less personality an actor has off stage the better. A blank canvas on which to draw the characters he plays.

en A writer can write in an attic, or on top of a bus. Or with a sharp stick in some wet cement. To act, an actor has to have words. A stage. a camera turning.

en I like playing St. Thomas - they?re good. We like playing tough teams, and we were fortunate. I think the turning point was us scoring five goals at the end of the first half and beginning of the second. It gave us a little bit of breathing room.
