I'm very proud of the fact we received an award for being the outstanding program in the entire country, ... To my knowledge, no DA's office or DHS office in Oklahoma has ever received that national recognition.

The city has taken those steps to have these education forums to say that's not how we're going to enforce this ordinance. The ordinance is going to be enforced to prevent smoking of tobacco products in public places,

So if we see somebody smoking on site, we see the ash trays and the cigarette butts that is evidence that smoking has been occurring and let them know that that is a violation of the way the ordinance has been written.

We're honored to be performing with a band that received their Diamond Award (given for 10,000,000 albums sold) at the same ceremony when we received our Diamond Award. So it seems fitting that we go out together after all these years and celebrate a lot of good years of rock and roll.

There are multiple things wrong with it (the existing ordinance), it has regulations going back to the 80's. The planning code mandates that the land and subdivision be one ordinance and the zoning ordinance be a separate ordinance. Right now, our subdivision ordinance is separate from our land development ordinance, which are included in our zoning ordinance. We need to address those items.

It's virtually impossible to contain the impact of smoking within a limited area, so this is a logical extension of our no-smoking policy and reflection of input we've received from our fans.

SIH received this award by providing an employee-centered environment where people feel valued for who they are and what they do. This is not an award you buy; it's one you earn.

It was pretty neat. At the state tournament, they also got the sportsmanship award, which was the first time ever. They were fun to watch play. When they received that award, they were all dressed up in red and white. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. It was pretty neat. She believes that we are all here to help other people and she follows up with that by volunteering with various organizations. I was ecstatic when she received the award. Lori is very humble and she doesn't look for credit. We were both very surprised about it and she is very deserving of the award.

The way the ordinance stands, now all one has to do is post a piece of binder paper with a no smoking sign on it.

This is an important milestone for the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation. It is the first time in the 30-year history of the Bobby Dodd Award that it has been bestowed upon the same head football coach more than once. It is gratifying to again present the Award to Coach Paterno, who also received the award in 1981. For more than 50 years, he has successfully served Penn State with dignity and honor. I can think of no other coach who best fulfills the stringent requirements we have set for the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award.

Every award I've ever received has been very gratifying. The Living Legend Award was extremely gratifying; it was voted on by the fans. It's just great to be remembered after all these years, to still be a viable part of the music business. So, I'm very deeply honored by all the awards.

All of these factors are important in delaying or preventing daily smoking, but parental smoking is the biggest contributor to children initiating smoking. It really is a matter of 'do as I do' not 'do as I say' when it comes to smoking.
