They were really big and they took everything away from us. We're used to firing up the [open] threes. We finally started getting the ball more inside in the last quarter. We had to really work for our shots. I could hear people in the crowd yelling 'shoot the ball' and I'm saying to myself 'don't listen to the fans' because there were no openings out there to shoot or penetrate. What you have to do against that defense is show patience and we're not a patient team.

Basically, we can't be overanxious. We know what guys they have who shoot the ball really well and we know what guys they have who penetrate and look to get other people open shots. We have to be more patient on our defense and not over-help, just close out all shooters and play with our hands up the whole time.

They shot the ball great in the first half — I've never seen a team shoot so many threes (41 on the night). I think they got tired and were still shooting threes from the outside, and we started getting the ball inside.

She does a great job of distributing the ball, finding the open person, pushing the ball up the floor. She can shoot the three, and she can shoot it deep, which draws the defense out and opens up Emily inside.

I've been telling the girls, ever since the first game, to shoot the ball. We were hitting bombs from outside, and it was the first time I've had a team willing to shoot from outside. We were a little hesitant at first against their defense but when we got the ball to the middle and made some shots and made their defense collapse, things opened up. We have guys who can really knock shots down if you give them an open look.

They spread you out and isolate you. Now that they have a great inside threat, he keeps you very accountable. And they share the ball very well.
