The gap lower below the 200-day moving average is noteworthy since the market has not been below this.... since 2002.

I expect the market to open lower following weakness in regional markets in early trade. The absence of any market-moving news will prevent companies from taking major positions in the market.

You have all these dynamics that drive our specific market. Our economy is better, property taxes are lower, our schools are better -- all these things make our real estate market better than the national average.

Mortgage approvals are also clearly above their average for the last decade of 100,00 strengthening the argument that the housing market in 2006 will see the first rise in activity since 2002, after three consecutive years of decline.

As the average gets lower and lower, (today's) average looks better and better. It's a very serious concern.

A changing market with volume manufacturing moving offshore will mean that design-in distributors will have to increase the mix of higher average selling price products that they supply to their customers.

What's noteworthy is the rates did not fall when the demand dropped after 9/11. So hotels are now in a great position to grow the rates moving forward.
