The markets are hanging on nicely, considering the massive gains yesterday, ... Clearly, if the market can hold onto its gains from yesterday, and through the weak durable goods report today, the path of least resistance is upside.

All in all, I think investors are trying to put on a positive face and push stocks higher into the year-end. I think the market is going to try to build on yesterday's modest gains.

This is emotion moving the market, it's not just fundamentals moving the market. It's Friday, and you've seen the wild swings over the past couple days.

It's very encouraging and very positive, and a strong signal that we're moving into the next stage of the state trying to encourage investments.

Continued fund flow into Hong Kong and positive market performance overseas helped support gains in the market.

We closed above key levels and that was a positive signal for the market.
