I learned that there ordsprog

en I learned that I had the mental game to play out there, ... I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . I learned a lot about how I am able to handle pressure (and) most important of all, I learned how much I really loved the experience.

en I learned that there are some who can play when the game is on the line and some who can't.

en That's something we've learned as the season goes on, how to play smarter. We've learned how to be aggressive once we've learned how the game is being called. Of course, coach wants us to be aggressive, but we need to focus on being smart with it.

en I wasn't really concerned about [other teams]. I was thinking about my own team. I've learned not to sell them short. I've learned when we're down 17 last night [to Indiana before rallying to win] the game is not over. They battle, and they like to play. We know we have some shortcomings but they try to stay organized, they move the ball, they try to play together, and when you do that, success is going to follow at some point ? it's just a matter of time.

en The way they play is really different. (From my first trip I learned) that I needed to improve my game. Going over there and seeing how they play and the way we play is totally different. It's total ball control. Nothing is rushed there. No one is running around really because it's such a controlled game.

en The thing I learned (from the other two tournaments) is not to be stupid and to stop being a hero. Just play my own game, play within myself, don't play anyone else's game and play the course. K-I-S-S. Keep it simple, stupid. That's what my dad always says.

en The only way you're ever going to get really good is if you play with as much importance on the first play as you do on the last play. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. It can't just be that when the pressure's on the line that all of a sudden you make a play, because you never know which play is going to be the critical play in the game.

en We'll go to the drawing board and tighten things up. I thought we dominated two periods and everyone was great for them. We learned a lot. We got here, and we learned something - learned that we have to be smarter in how we play.

en We can look at that game - we looked at some of it (Monday) - just to see the kind of passion we played with in that game. Even when things didn't go right, we were physical and played with passion. That's how you have to play in this league. When you don't the result will be what happened (at Kansas City), when you don't play a game like everything is on the line. I think this team knows the type of attitude we have to play with.

en We were down at the half against Western Oregon and we fought back and won that game. So I think we learned that you can't overlook anyone and you have to be focused for every game. Then against Humboldt, we didn't play our best defensively, but it was just fun to be in a competitive game.

en I learned that we are capable of winning, but I also learned we are awful. There's a lesson in everything we do, but the bottom line is that right now, we don't have the proper tools to compete.

en Perhaps he stays in Italy and so learned from Machiavelli. We want to play to win this game. It's not a question of playing for a 2-2 draw so Italy will be out and to reach the second stage. We are going to play our game.

en When we play our best, we can play with anybody. I think we're capable of going all the way, but we've got to take it one game at a time. We've got to line up and play whoever they put in front of us and play the way we played today and it will all take care of itself. We're not just in there just to be saying we're there.

en It looked to me like we had the balls delivered where they were supposed to be, we had the right patterns called, and we didn't execute or make the catch. When the game is on the line, we talk about who can you count on when the game counts, and we didn't come up with a play to win the game or at least a play to keep the drive going.

en Just to see the kind of passion we played with in that game, even when things didn't go right. That's how you've got to play. And when you don't, the result will be what happened (in Kansas City) when you don't play a game like everything's on the line.
