You've got some pretty learned people right now predicting a Fed pause.

This year, the model is predicting pretty much what a lot of other people are predicting.

I've learned a lot. I've learned that pretty much everything I have is replaceable, as long as I don't lose my family. I've gotten a lot closer to the people I work with - they pretty much became my family. You always learn stuff when things don't go right.

North Atlantic oscillation is an indicator, and it's been fairly accurate during the last few years for predicting winter weather over the northeastern U.S.. It's a pretty complicated thing. We look at data buoys and other information-gathering devices. It gets pretty technical.

The fact that he didn't suggest any time frame for a pause is going to leave rates biased slightly higher. People still think a yield near 4.7% on the long end is a pretty good deal.

We are not talking about a collapse next year or a recession, but we are predicting a pretty significant fall in prices.

There are shifting expectations on whether the Fed will pause or not after its meeting next week. Signals from the Fed that it may pause in June may see a bid for Treasuries.

The Fed may pause even if the risks aren't balanced. He is trying to tell you that we will still pause even if the numbers come in as they have so far this year.

I don't think this report guarantees a pause, but it doesn't stand in the way of a pause if the Fed feels it's something they should look at.

There is a question of steady increases or taking a pause. I think this data supports a pause, but we still have two more employment reports to consider before the December FOMC meeting, so it's not over yet,

I do think a pause is coming along at some point. My guess has been all along that a pause was more likely in the first meeting of next year than in December. The October employment report strengthens that view.
