en I am pleased and honored to be the head coach of D.C. United, ... I have great respect for this organization. This will be a new challenge for me. However, I've built my whole career on meeting such challenges and establishing a winning mentality. I expect things to be no different here.

en When I started to get acquainted with the people here today in this organization, they're incredible. From the head coach to the special teams coach to the owner to everybody involved, they're just great people that this organization has in there. We were honored that they wanted us to come and be a part of it and be a part of the transition. We expect good things pretty quick here.

en I am very pleased that Elizabeth has accepted to take on this challenge, ... She has built a long career as an advocate for New Brunswick children, seniors and families. We are very pleased that she will be leading this new and challenging agency.

en Having to pitch your whole career in New York and be successful, that has to amount to something, ... I can't go back and play, but to go back in a capacity as a pitching coach and become part of the organization again, it's a great honor and a great challenge. I think it's going to be fun.

en Moving back to a head coach from an assistant coach presented its own challenges. When you are the head coach you are setting the tone. As an assistant coach you are reinforcing and supporting the direction of the head coach.

en I am humbled and honored to be the next head basketball coach at the University of Northern Colorado. This is going to be both a tremendous challenge and opportunity for me.

en I have never been more excited and energized about a head coaching appointment in my career than I am with the hiring of Ben Jacobson as our men's basketball coach. Ben is ready to take this step. He has the support of the current team and our recruiting class and he will do a great job of maintaining the excellence that we have built in our men's basketball program.

en I am very honored to be the next head basketball coach at Rider University. I will work tirelessly to reward (this) decision to name me as the next head coach in a program with such a proud tradition.

en I was honored to be named Coach of the Year. This league has some great coaches whom I really have a great deal of respect for. It is nice to have your peers honor you in that manner. However, the honor really belongs to the team. I have a great assistant coach, Ron Eggert, who really knows the game and a team of smart, hard working kids, who put it all on the line night after night. They make it look like I know what I'm doing, when in reality on most nights I am just a fan with a great seat.

en The buzz around the organization is that they are putting together the best squad dating back to Buffalo, ... It will be the best squad that the Destroyers organization has ever had. Don't expect a losing attitude, expect a winning attitude, because the players aren't satisfied until they have a winning atmosphere.
