It just seemed like ordsprog
It just seemed like something was going to go wrong tonight and it did. We fell down on the first goal.
Peter Laviolette
I can tell you this: At no point during the season did we ever sit back and say, 'Wow! We're sure doing good.' Nor at the end of the year did we sit back and say, 'We had a hell of a year.' We fell short of our goal. That's what I want it to be around here. I don't want us to celebrate being second best or third best or fourth best. I don't think you need to do that. That's the wrong thing to do.
Jim Mora
The bomb that fell on Hiroshima fell on America too. It fell on no city, no munition plants, no docks. It erased no church, vaporized no public buildings, reduced no man to his atomic elements. But it fell, it fell.
Hermann Hagedorn
It looks like the street just fell in. Just the wrong place at the wrong time.
Larry Nelson
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I fell in a hole.

We know what we did was wrong and we cost our team a game (Friday) night. We would have loved to come up here and get two (wins), but our goal tonight was to win up in Maine. We haven?t done that in six years, so we?re pretty happy right now. I don?t want to say we going to go out and celebrate, though.
Josh Ciocco
If you look at it from the point of getting better, we achieved that goal. But we fell short of the conference tournament, which was our No. 1 goal.
Brian Reinke
My goal for the Championship changed a lot from being less personal accomplishment to more team driven, but unfortunately we fell just short of that goal.
Dan Wohl
We swung the bats tonight and we're capable of it every time we come out. We hit 'em tonight and they fell.
Stevie Hinnant
[The bummer of it all is that Dowd is right about the female need to use aggression only as a stealth weapon. The hazard of hitting the big five-oh and beyond is an erroneous sense that you've earned the right not to play by the same rules. Once the hormonal brakes come off, it's easy to crash.] I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, ... I fell in a hole.

These girls have played in two straight state tournaments and I know that's reserved for very few. We fell just short of the triple crown. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. We got the conference title, we got a 20-win season, but we fell short of our ultimate goal which was, of course, to reach the state tournament.
Don Lyons
Obviously, my first goal is to win the event, but I had it in the back of my mind that I could break the record, so that was a goal and I'm disappointed I fell short in the event.

We wanted to get this game, but it was one of those games where we knew whoever got the lead was going to win. Tonight we never got the lead. The key goal was their second goal. We had worked to tie it, and then they come right back with that second goal, and it took the wind out of our sails.
Rob Daum
We had a couple of big saves from Chris Mason in the third. We had bang-bang goals in the second period and Hartnell came up with the big goal at the end. It was a key goal for us. They sort of had us on our heels, they were coming hard, but we were able to get the big goal tonight when we needed it.
Barry Trotz
But, don't get me wrong, we got beat by a team that was firing on all cylinders tonight. Roaring Fork played great. It seemed like they could do no wrong.
