But, don't get me wrong, we got beat by a team that was firing on all cylinders tonight. Roaring Fork played great. It seemed like they could do no wrong.

We felt as though we were the better team, and we let an opportunity slip by. We talked about it today that our next game against Roaring Fork is the most important game of the season. If we can push through Roaring Fork, then we're set to see if we can knock off one of the top-two teams in our league. Clear Fork played very well. I thought we were tentative all night and that's not the way we played all year. We missed a lot of free throws (13-of-23) and that's a microcosm of what went wrong tonight.

They played great. I told our guys before I think they're the best team in the country. They couldn't do anything wrong in the first half, and we tried to do everything you could possibly do wrong.

Defense set the tone; it's what did it last night (Friday night in Roaring Fork's 45-35 win over Cedaredge) and tonight. Everyone I put on the floor took their man to the one-on-one and said 'I challenge you to beat me' and for the most part they (the Bulldogs) choked. It was awesome.

I really don't know what went wrong. We had a few defensive breakdowns, especially toward the end. But I really thought our kids did a great job tonight. That was a very good team we played.

The last three games, we haven't been firing on all cylinders. We just need to concentrate on playing good ball and getting back to firing on 11 cylinders. This week, we have a solid game plan, which should allow that to happen. My kids just have to be the best that they can be. I can't ask anything more of them than that.

They just played as well as they could play for a half and we played as poorly as we could play. We gave them second chances and third chances. Everything went wrong that could possibly go wrong in a lacrosse game. I complimented our team on that at halftime: 'There's not much more you can do wrong.'?

That's a heck of a team we beat, man. If they do not get into the NIT, then there's something wrong ... there's really something wrong. With the year that this conference has had, that (if) they don't get into the NIT, they should do away with the league, they should do away with the NIT.

We came out firing on all cylinders and played an unbelievable game. I'm very excited about the direction this team is heading.

We had to play well. We had to play very, very well. We're not going to beat a team like that unless we're clicking on all cylinders. Tonight, we played a complete game.

We had some people in the wrong spot at the wrong time. We knew Mayo was going to be the toughest team we've played so far.

I think something really wrong happened. I think she has passed on by now. She made the wrong decision or was in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person.

They did us wrong in the seeding meeting and we had to show them. I know it's tough to beat a team three times, but we came out and played hard.

Roaring Fork played tough and had a lot more heart than we did. We had too many patches [of inconsistency]. We had really good plays, but our first touches were horrendous.
