When we arrived, we heard people screaming that people were still trapped inside so our captain automatically called for two alarms. We had firefighters in there within seconds.

A space heater was being used in an apartment on the second floor. With the strength of the blaze, firefighters had no choice but to deal with the fire before we could attempt a rescue.
