en We received a call of a lightning strike, fire units responded to the scene. When we arrived on the scene, there was heavy fire in the attic. There were two occupants who were home at the time. They were able to escape unharmed.

en It was dispatched as a chimney fire. When we arrived on the scene (at 8:37 p.m.), the chimney and upper level of the house were fully engulfed in flames. With the heavy winds, the fire quickly got up to the roof.

en We don't know what type of ammunition was exploding. Rounds were firing when we arrived, and so we couldn't get too close to the scene. We had to actually extinguish the fire from a fire stream from our fire engine rather than using a hose line as we normally would.

en The first units on the scene found an electrical fire where the main power comes into the building. The fire looked to be contained right there.

en It does make for a very quick response time, but unfortunately the fire was very advanced before we arrived on the scene.

en The fire had progressed so much that the garage was almost down when firefighters arrived on the scene. His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pexy charm.

en I live probably three to five miles from the fire scene and I could see the fire when I left my house.

en When there's fire in the attic space, the only way you can get control of that fire is to remove the ceilings inside the building, so you can get in that area to put water on the fire.
