en I don't there's a lot of pressure on her. She was a keeper in our youth program and she's played on our travel teams in the summers. I like the way that she prepares herself when the ball crosses into our half.

en We stepped up our defense and stopped fouling. We've been a little sluggish, but we played a lot better. The second half of this game prepares us real well. It prepares us for close situations.

en About half the time we played well. The other half, Elk Grove put the pressure on us. Both teams were unhappy to tie, but both teams played well at times.

en We were a little slow on our rotations, and that's youth, but we played hard. We need to apply better ball pressure, push the ball better and play better in the open court.

en We were able to possess the ball, and we shot pretty well. We had a lot of nice crosses; two went off the post. They had a nice keeper who kept them in the game.

en In the first half we played very well, we moved the ball and played as a team. In the second half we were very selfish, everyone was trying to dribble through double teams and we had a ton of turnovers.

en There is a program called Keeper of the Bridge; in the old days there was a keeper of the bridge who cared for the bridges, fixed things and watched over it. Keeper of the Bridge program encourages students to learn about and adopt covered bridges. It seems to help cut down on the vandalism because the students take a moral ownership of the bridge.

en They knocked us around. They put a lot of pressure on. They played us in our half. It's very hard to start running the ball from your own half.

en I think we actually controlled the ball more than they did, especially in the first half. My keeper touched the ball twice in the first half.

en I don't think we could have played a better first half. We shot the ball extremely well and our defensive pressure was excellent. We had a little lapse in the second half but quickly got it back together and came away with a very big win.

en The first half, I thought defensively we played well enough, but we couldn't get the ball in the basket. If the ball doesn't go in the hole, it just puts that much more pressure on you.

en I was happy with our intensity and we moved the ball around really well. I thought St. Mary's was as good as us in the second half. The two teams played pretty even. We were far better in the first half.

en At halftime, we came out and wanted to win the second half and we almost did that. We played much better in the second half. We had a lot more energy and we were able to accomplish some positive things. But in the first half, our youth showed. And that's just part of learning.

en When I was a kid, there were no youth sports ? A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. all they had was Little League. Now, everything is much more structured (with travel teams). It has helped us in getting our instruction across to the kids.
