At halftime we came ordsprog

At halftime, we came out and wanted to win the second half and we almost did that. We played much better in the second half. We had a lot more energy and we were able to accomplish some positive things. But in the first half, our youth showed. And that's just part of learning.

We played really well in the first half, up 12 at halftime. The kids passed well and looked for the open man -- they showed a lot of patience. In the second half (Scappoose) stepped up on defense and offensively we got off track of what we wanted to do.

The first half we couldn't do anything wrong. The first half we showed how we were able to win our region and get here. The second half we showed how we lost 12 games. I think, at halftime, our guys thought the game was won.

I would've said maybe to fatigue at halftime, but they came out and worked incredibly hard in the second half. So they couldn't have been tired. We played one half of soccer today. I'm happy to go home tonight after the second half. If I would've had a second half like the first, I would've been furious.

That was not a PG-rated halftime. I thought in the second half we had a lot more energy. The first half was horrendous. One thing I did tell them is they couldn't have beaten a bad JV team in the first half.

The first half was very physical. They came out with more energy than we did. They had more hustle and physicality. We had four yellow cards in the first half. We had a lot of opportunities to win in the last 10 minutes, but we came away with the tie.

In the second half we let it all hang out, ... Everybody played their heart out. We pushed everybody up. I thought we could score because we have been a second-half team all year. This game is always a big one. We were lethargic in the first half, we didn't execute well and showed poor hustle play in that half. But we played better in the second half. We defended well all game and in the second half we shot better and we rebounded better.

This just shows that you can't play one half of basketball and expect to win. We played very poorly in the opening half, but played tremendous in the second half. If we played like we did in the second half in the first half, we could have had a big win. But, you can't afford to dig yourself a hole like we did.

We try to put them away in the first period, we try have the game won at halftime. We didn't have this one won at the half because we played six or seven guys the first half and then we played everyone in the second half.

I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. I felt like we didn't have any intensity.

We were so ready to play and had great energy and a great push there in the first half. One of the things we talked about at halftime was the game was 0-0, and that was the type of mentality we had to have going out into the second half.
