en We've got a lot of baseball under our belt, and we felt like we should've won at least one of the two games we lost, if not both. But overall, we're pretty well pleased.

en You can't expect the world. I'm sure a lot of people felt we'd be 10-15 instead of 15-10, but if you ask me we should be 17-8 or 18-7. We lost some very winnable home games, or we're right with San Antonio and Dallas. I'm pretty happy with where we are.

en When I was a kid, I used to go to the UH (baseball) camps and watch the baseball games. Being able to play on the field I used to watch games, it's pretty special.

en It was pretty much a fastball down the middle. I felt bad. I was looking for a pitch a little lower. I was looking for something down and he actually got it belt high. en When we can get out here and play day-to-day, we're a different team. We've had a lot of inactivity between games, and they're a little ahead of us. But I like our team. When we get some games under our belt, we're going to be pretty good.

en He's got a year under his belt and 12 games under his belt and that makes a big difference. Experience is so valuable when it comes to making good decisions.

en It's a relief that it's over; it's been a tough season all the way around. We felt that we shouldn't have lost a lot of games that we lost, but with a lot of people going down, we haven't been 70%, 60% all year.
