You know obviously I ordsprog

en You know obviously I ask myself that for those same reasons. You know, it's kind of hard work to put a big tour like this together, but the audience is so great and that's what it is. You know, it's the only point in your career where you actually get all these people sitting there (and) back this thing that you just felt. And it's pretty powerful. And it's, it really, it hooks you.
  Paul McCartney

en I hadn't thought too much about it because I thought I was going to have a long career on the Champions Tour, ... I take the way I feel, or felt, on the golf course and try to compare it with the way some people are playing now, and give reasons for what's going on. I'm always pretty quick with a comment. That's just me.

en It would be more than I deserve at this point in my career, ... It was one of our goals heading into the season, but honestly at this point I don't expect it. It would be great, don't get me wrong, but if it doesn't happen I'm not going to get upset. There are a million reasons we shouldn't make it, looking back.

en After the game, I was here at home kind of numb. I've never felt that way. I was almost in shock. I could hardly sleep and didn't go to work. It's been a pretty depressing day, and the last thing I wanted to hear was that it was an ACL. She worked so hard to get where she is, and it's just a tragedy.

en So much of it is what kind of attitude does the person have that you're dealing with. There's not many people more positive than Damon. He will drive himself and work himself as hard as possible to get that leg back to where it was so he can resume his career next season.

en It's just a great feeling. We felt a little bit of that pressure and after Friday night for those kids to come back, it was just tremendous. It's a testimony to how hard they worked and knowing what they needed to do to come back. They did a great job. I can't say enough about all their hard work and what they did getting here.

en They completely went on cruise control and felt they didn't need to work as hard and make the strong pass. The next thing you know Linden was right there and then Weller was unstoppable. I was very impressed with what he was able to do. But we took it on the chin and we regrouped and came back. We are 7-3 in the league and we will take that at this point.

en But the experience was so great. That's what the music is about, the band and the audience elevating each other. I worried that it would be people sitting back and judging me. But it wasn't like that at all.

en She's a great girl and takes her stuff real serious. I'm pretty impressed with the fact that she is able to have a family, have an acting career, and be able to put a band together, and write songs and tour. She has a chip on her shoulder with some of these lyrics, so it's not like some innocent little thing; she really has something to say.

en Things really stepped up for us over here after that tour. And it's funny, because up to that, things were really grooving along — the records were on sale and in stores, and everything was moving along really nice — but then we did the Damien Rice tour, and it opened up this whole new audience to us. It put us on a whole different level. Well, not a level, but a whole different place with a new audience, which I kind of found exciting and a little bit strange.

en It was a not a pretty game. I felt our defensive pressure affected them. We take a lot of pride in defense. It's the No. 1 thing we work on. The two programs kind of mirror each other that way.

en Not only will you get to see anything, but you'll get to see great music. I think one of the great things about Athens is that kind of friendly competition breeds really great work. The people sitting here watching you are musicians, too, so you want to put on your best show.

en To find a career to which you are adapted by nature, and then to work hard at it, is about as near to a formula for success and happiness as the world provides. One of the fortunate aspects of this formula is that, granted the right career has been found, the hard work takes care of itself. Then hard work is not hard work at all.

en Anytime you work hard and you see that something is removed from you that you worked so hard to accomplish, you kind of get discouraged, ... It took me almost two years to get back to where I felt like I was at that time.
