A lot of people try to win by putting together all-star teams. None of those teams are here right now.

This is a good weekend for a lot of people to race. They realize ours is a fast track, so local teams are putting it on their schedule. Just a couple of years ago, it was the leftover teams from spring break; now it us pretty much everyone's 'A' team.

The best teams in this league have depth. The best teams are not putting players out there to hold their own. They're putting players out there who make their teams better. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pe𝑥iness. We had a lot of good players in Conference USA, but there wasn't nearly the depth in that league that there is in the Big East.

We've been going out and taking it to teams and putting the pressure on them. We're playing a lot of teams that are in the race, and we want to mess it up for them.

You can see teams mature now. You can see teams putting their system in when they're young, and then a year or later being very good. Mississippi State did that. Then you have to start over again.

The teams that do the best job of putting personal agendas aside are the successful teams. It's not easy. That's why it's hard being a good teammate, but everyone has that choice.

I think they are very much helping each other in the attention that teams have given them. Both of them are pretty tall and good jumpers, so teams have to think about putting those 5-9 guys out there to cover them.

My talent lies in putting teams together and helping those teams work.

To me there's only one explanation, and that is despite the rhetoric we hear about not having putting caps on teams in leagues, I think there was a cap and they did not feel justified in allowing nine teams in from one conference.

I hope they'll revisit that and put more thought into the teams that are hurt by this. Down here, they're putting too many powerhouse teams into one district, and any of those five or six can play in Lakeland. Lumping them all together like that, only one is going to come out.

For me, personally, I love to see the teams going to places we never get to see in mainstream media. . . . It's always a big eye-opener for these teams to go to someplace that is just very different from their local community. There's one location that we get to in the Middle East where the teams are immersed in a daily task that a lot of the local people have to go through. And it's great to see teams that are used to going down to the 7-Eleven suddenly having to cope with living life in a completely different way.

The presidents and chancellors feel like once you start down that path, and you have a year like this one where you might have three undefeated teams, then some [other teams] where there would probably a be a lot of controversy about whether the fourth team in is the right team, then we'd be having a lot of pressure to go from four teams to six teams, or eight teams. Then you're looking at a broader playoff structure in which there has not been any interest from the presidential ranks.

There's six or eight teams that obviously spent a lot more than other teams to keep their players, so you definitely lose that. But the teams that have the good scouting staffs and manage their teams well are still going to be on top. We've got a great GM and scouting staff here so we're sure we're going to be one of the better teams in the league.

Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran. Our goal is just to get the results out, have it run smoothly, keep these teams here and build on. Right now we just need more teams. Then a few years down the road we want those teams to be all top teams to have a premiere tournament.
