en This is a very tough building to play in. We're not satisfied with the split, but we'll take it.

en The difference was they came out to play and we didn't. When we did play hard, it was too late. You can't do that against teams which play such good defense like they do. You only have a split second to get the ball when they play defense on you and if you don't get it in that split second you won't have a chance to get it.

en Our league is so tough to go on the road and win. We were fortunate to come out with a split. Obviously, we'd have liked to have a sweep. On the road that'd been huge. But you play to sweep at home and split on the road and we'll take it.

en As I've always said of Brad, he is a student of the game and always will be. That's why he continues to progress. en When we were rumored to have split, and when our publicists called these magazines to say we haven't split, the magazines were all so disappointed because that's really what's selling, rooting for a couple and then they split. That's what sells the magazines.

en We really gave it a tremendous effort on the backboard. It's a tough place to play, there's a lot of history in this building. We did our best to try to give them the game near the end.

en When we start winning and get the pieces in place, we'll get more and more people and that building will be tough to play in. I'll point to Dan and his group as the pioneers of that.

en It's very difficult (for Buffalo) to swallow. For us, too, especially in a building like Calgary's where it's tough enough to play. It's a mistake we're supposed to prevent. We have a bad night whenever it happens. Everyone's upset here.
