These games are very important, because they won't play like the bottom teams. [Rutgers and Villanova] always tend to have their best games against us.

These last games are the most important. We want to be at the top, not at the bottom.

The bottom line is, we didn't play Steve much the first few games he played. Tonight he played, and he was important. He played important. He's ready to go and help our hockey team.

For us there is 16 conference games to go and yet, boy, these games this weekend seem really important because they are home games. It's kind of early to call them must-win, but they are really important games.

It seems to be from top to bottom. Today we didn't hit as well as we have from top to bottom from the last couple of games, but we've had guys that are coming through for us.

What is really crucial is that we can consistently hold our own in the front five, that is where teams will attack us and we have to resist that. If we had had a bit more luck and maybe a little bit more experience we could have won two or three more games, what we have got now will close the gap and give us the little bit extra to cross the line in some of those games. We are optimistic but also realistic. We are still at the bottom end, if not the bottom, of the funding ladder and we have to be realistic. If we get injuries we don't have a great deal of depth. If we get a few injuries we might struggle to be competitive.

[Despite a grueling day,] there is a feeling that we saw a near-term bottom today [Friday], ... Monday will be important to see if we can bounce off that bottom.

Picking skis for use on soft snow is important as is the lineal rill on the bottom of the ski. The better they are, the better you are able to channel water away from the bottom of the ski.

I expect we will make an important bottom and the ultimate bottom this month.

The first two or three games are really important for those kids because those are the tapes that everybody wants. Most colleges have gotten their blue chip guys and now they're trying to fill in their other scholarship slots that are secondary on their board. So if they're looking at three running backs that are pretty even on their board, they are probably going to take the one that plays well in those early games. So those games are really important for those guys.

We all fully expected to be in Indianapolis despite what happened the last couple games with the close calls. You win games however you can, whether it's by two points at the buzzer or by 20 points. It has been a help from the standpoint of knowing how to prepare for these types of games, being in important games and dealing with adversity. I think it is important to appreciate where you are and know where you came from.
